GRIND TITE by GLOOMCVLT (Vaporwave Album Review by Red Scryyn of Death)

 INTRO

Welcome ladies, gentlemen, and marble statues, to another album review. This time we will be taking a dive into another rare and hidden piece of “vaporwave” content, “GRIND TITE by GLOOMCVLT. This set of tracks resonates with me on a personal and spiritual level that’s been with me for a good two years now.  Read the rest of this entry »

Vaporwave Album Review: INTERNET CLUB – REDEFINING THE WORKPLACE

Thursday, May 28th, 2020 by Merchant of the Agora

If a major conceptual component of vaporwave is hyper-realism, then REDEFINING THE WORKPLACE is one of its greatest practitioners. Released in January 2012, Robin Burnett’s sixth album as INTERNET CLUB elicits the perfectly sterile and sterily perfect office environment of enterprise millennialism in seventy-five minutes. On the Cannibal Cafe’s website, they have forums that were about men looking for men, men looking for women (the ideal: short, buxom, thin redheads) and women looking for men—very few posts, if any, were for women looking for women.

Vaporwave Review: 식료품groceries – 슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open

Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 by Merchant of the Agora

Come on baby, take a walk on the aisle side.1 슈퍼마켓Yes! We’re Open2 is the debut release from 식료품groceries3 and is one of the earliest releases on the Dream Catalogue label.4 It is literally a soundtrack to the experience of going aisle-by-aisle in a supermarket (hence the tag “aislegaze”): each track is themed after exploring a different section and listing some of the products that one may find.

Missing 411, Multidimensional Beings explained in Fairie Folklore

In this post, I am going to argue that this phenomenon is caused by fae, or fairies. Fae are generally said to kidnap or coax people into the Land of Faerie where, depending on the type, they may throw lavish festivals for the human, or enslave and/or feed off the person. Sometimes both.
