Derek Power Welcome to the world of shopping, not just independent of space but of time also. Whether you need burger patties from 1958 suburbia or hair gel from 1986 or some curry spice at a downtown Asian market, this has it all. And yes, we are always open.Favorite track: Interlude (Lost in the Freezer Section).

|WAVE_NEWS| I work at a supermarket and I could only wish that working there was as amazing as this album.Favorite track: Aisle 7 (Sailboats, Forecasts, and Room Keys).

Ingwit thumbnail

Ingwit Piped out of the PA system in the department store at the end of the universe. A vaporwave concept album I can get behind.Favorite track: Aisle 8 (Drink Specials, Warm Evenings, and Rooftop Views).

Common Hotels™ thumbnail

Common Hotels™ this album brings me an unnerving sense of calm. the droning echoes of a grocery store sound system long forgotten by its past consumers. it’s like the nostalgia ive never had past experience with.Favorite track: Interlude (Lost in the Freezer Section).

mushroom_king1994 thumbnail

mushroom_king1994 Found myself drawn to this album by its intriguing track titles. The titles, along with the music present in the tracks, tell a vivid story of a very strange grocery store. In my head, this place is interdimensional, and each aisle is like a whole other world. Each song sounds like the backing track to a dream.Favorite track: Aisle 7 (Sailboats, Forecasts, and Room Keys).

theviz thumbnail

theviz I hated this album when I first found vaporwave. I did not get it. Now I get it. And I got it.Favorite track: Aisle 4 (Hairstyles, Power-Ups, and Magnetic Tape).

Digital Sex thumbnail

Digital Sex I finally own one of my earliest introductions to the vaporwave genreFavorite track: Checkout (Have a Nice Day).

sirspicy When you get pleasure from the littlest of things in life, this is one of those experiences that help you realize it. Worth the listen, vaporwave fan or not. 8/10Favorite track: Aisle 7 (Sailboats, Forecasts, and Room Keys).

jack thompson thumbnail

jack thompson My mallsoft collection has to start somewhere… This is it.. and it is lit tooFavorite track: Intrance (Realities).

famicomdemon thumbnail

famicomdemon Ironically enough I actually do find myself listening to this album while I am shopping around in a grocery store or working, it’s got a nice atmosphere and honestly it works out well for it. Personal favorite of mine, I would at least give it a listen if you like vaporwave or experimental music.Favorite track: Aisle 3 (Summits, Clouds, and Greener Grass).

cwiis thumbnail

cwiis i want to live in this storeFavorite track: Aisle 2 (Parallel Lines, Oscillating Fans, and Public-Access Broadcasting).

Skeletal Lamping thumbnail

Skeletal Lamping Amazing album to chill and get lost in.Favorite track: Aisle 5 (Moonlight, Urban Skylines, and Rapid Eye Movement).

Kaihatsu thumbnail

Kaihatsu This album is so dreamy sounding, and I love to listen to it at night or on long journeys, it really creates a ‘late at night’ atmosphere.Favorite track: Intrance (Realities).

Goodnight Moon thumbnail

Goodnight Moon Moody and distant without feeling vapid. A great album to just sit back and listen, close your eyes, and imagine walking through endless grocery isles.Favorite track: Aisle 2 (Parallel Lines, Oscillating Fans, and Public-Access Broadcasting).

Marc Seiryu thumbnail

Marc Seiryu When I was very young, I got separated from my parents and became lost in a supermarket in Malaysia. This album underlines and expands on such an experience with its conveniently synthetic, stretched-out tunes akin to an Asian supermarket’s white noise. I’m a little surprised that in the middle of it, I’d started feeling like the forlorn little kid who got lost in Malaysia again! (And if you’ve never been lost in a supermarket before? It’s never too late.)Favorite track: Aisle 7 (Sailboats, Forecasts, and Room Keys).

Brian P thumbnail

Brian P The captured essences of liminal space and degraded glory

Bennett Quarles thumbnail

Bennett Quarles mmm yeah, goes down smooth. so tasty, I think I’ll have seconds.

Benno G thumbnail

Benno G I absolutely love this MallSoft album. It is my favourite within the MallSoft realms. Superior ambience == superior music.Favorite track: Aisle 3 (Summits, Clouds, and Greener Grass).

SpiralBiaxident thumbnail

SpiralBiaxident I had a dream where I was in the local supermarket on a rainy morning; if there was a soundtrack to this dream, it would have been this.Favorite track: Aisle 2 (Parallel Lines, Oscillating Fans, and Public-Access Broadcasting).

Zeke Knott thumbnail

Zeke Knott Great atmosphere, lovely albumFavorite track: Interlude (Lost in the Freezer Section).
